FastKlean has created new software specifically designed to monitor the cleaners’ time schedule.

The software’s sole purpose is to supervise all of our domestic cleaners’ arrival and departure time from clients’ premises.
The system will work on call in and out log basis, which will be recorded onto the software.

The phone call will not be of any charge to you as the cleaner will simply signal the system and hang up, without making an actual conversation and without affecting your telephone bill in any way.

We aim to go beyond the expectations of our clients, so we can completely satisfy their individual requirements.

Nedyalka. She has been with us for a while already. The feedbacks from the customers are great and we even had new clients recommending their friends to join because of Nedyalka’s outstanding cleaning service.

Stefka. She started several years ago. Since she got the first job she has proved to be a really good cleaner (and person!). Customers are very happy with her services and she also kept some holiday replacements as permanent clients.

Daimer launches new eco cleaner

Daimer Industries has launched a new environmentally-friendly cleaner designed for floor surfaces.

The Eco-Green Multi-purpose Hard Surface Cleaner makes use of a soy-based formula which is especially effective for domestic cleaning non-porous hard surfaces.

Daimer said the biodegradable cleaning solution can be used to clean the inside of a car, as well as home and office floor surfaces.

Matthew Baratta, spokesperson for Daimer, said: “Our Multi-Purpose Hard Surface Cleaner is effective and safe for use in auto detailing operations concerned with the health of their employees and the environment.

“Like our other green chemicals, this cleaning compound relies on a patented cleaning technology.”

House cleaning bills could rise as adult kids return home

Many householders could see their house cleaning bills rise, as a new report shows an increasing number of adults are returning to the parental home.

According to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Centre, more than one in ten parents with grown up children say that least one of their adult sons or daughters has moved back home in the past year after living away.

The report said the recession and rising money worries has led to a surge of “boomerangers” particularly within the ages of 18 and 34.

And with the headcount of households increasing and homes becoming more congested, homeowners could notice an increased need for house cleaning services.

Overall, around 11 per cent of adults aged 18 and over live with their parents at home, with four per cent saying they were forced to move back in with their parents because of increased money problems.

About 70 per cent of grown children who live with their parents are younger than 30 and around half work full-time or part-time. With many adult children busy with work, there may be less time to deal with essential chores around the home.

Household budgets see cutbacks

Householders may be cutting back on their spending on domestic cleaning items, a new survey suggests.

According to a survey carried out by the Post Office Christmas Club, almost half (48 per cent) of female householders will be cutting back on their household expenditure.

However, just a quarter of men said they expect to cut back on their budget for household items.

The survey found that 29 per cent of people (14 million) are now feeling the financial effects of the shopping, entertaining and socialising over the Christmas period.

Despite the cutbacks on household expenditure, it seems householders may continue to devote funds to professional cleaning services.

A separate survey by 1001 found that more than half (52 per cent) of adults admit that their homes are the most dirty in the New Year.

However, instead of donning the marigolds themselves, it seems many may prefer to delegate the tasks to cleaning companies.

Around 55 per cent of people said that although they prefer to keep their homes in pristine condition for the New Year, many have no motivation to continue cleaning once the Christmas season is over.

Survey reveals 4,500 objects are left behind at dry cleaners

A new survey has found that a huge number of people forget personal belongings in their clothes when they take them to the dry cleaners.

According to a poll conducted by Credant technologies, around 4,500 devices were forgotten in clothing items taken to be washed or garments destined for regular ironing services.

The survey found that the number of items forgotten in pockets and other obscure parts of clothing when taken to be washed has halved compared to when the same poll was conducted around 12 months ago.

Despite this, researchers say they number is still “staggering”. The huge proportion of forgotten items could cause an increased administrative burden for domestic cleaners trying to complete their washing and regular ironing services.

The survey also found that important items such as wedding rings were left in clothing taken to the dry cleaners, along with more mundane, everyday objects such as lipstick, pens and stockings.

When asked to state the strangest objects left in customers’ clothes at the dry cleaners, one respondent said they found a pair of false teeth.

Consumers prefer green cleaning products

A new survey suggests that consumers prefer to spend their money on environmentally-friendly cleaning products and services.

According to a report by Burst Media, consumers are willing to pay more for eco-friendly products, with 90 per cent saying they have incorporated a level of greenness in their lives in some form.

More than half (59 per cent) of respondents said they would pay more for green domestic cleaning products, while 58 per cent said they would be willing to pay premium for eco-friendly laundry detergents.

Some 56 per cent of consumers surveyed said they believe the green claims made on product marketing to some extent.

However, a quarter are more dubious, with 25.1 per cent of respondents saying they do not believe the environmentally-friendly claims that are found on product marketing material.

One in ten consumers said they never believe the eco credentials that products claim to have.

The report found that overall, women are more likely to buy a product that is advertised as being green, while men lead the way when it comes to total commitment to green credentials.
